Wanpara Crane Alliance Pty Ltd is a Pilbara-based crane and lifting services provider bringing together the experience, operational capability and regional knowledge of its Founding partners: Yilkari Cranes, Thajarruka, Norwest Crane Hire and Mundi Group.
Named after the Nyiyaparli word Wanpara (pronounced Wan-bah-rah), meaning “Together”, the Alliance reflects the shared values, collective strength and long-term vision of its partners. By combining trusted crane and contracting expertise with a deep understanding of the Pilbara’s industries, communities and Country, Wanpara delivers safe, reliable and efficient lifting solutions across the region.
Proudly 100% Australian-owned and majority Indigenous-owned, Wanpara was established to create a stronger regional service provider built on collaboration, capability and a commitment to delivering lasting value for clients, communities and future generations.

Bringing together four respected Pilbara businesses, the Alliance combines decades of experience in crane operations, project delivery, maintenance support and contracting services. Through a shared commitment to safety, reliability and operational excellence, Wanpara provides clients with access to the expertise, equipment and local knowledge required to successfully deliver projects across the Pilbara.
Our name embodies our approach. Wanpara means Together—a principle that underpins everything we do. From our relationships with clients and contractors to our engagement with Traditional Owners, local businesses and communities, collaboration is at the heart of our success.
Our logo brings together symbolic elements from all 4 Founding Partners, with the Hands representing the coming together of the Partners, and the River symbolising our shared connection. Yilkari (Stars), Thajurruka (Baler Shell), Mundi Group (Barramundi), and Norwest (Orange colour palette) are incorporated within the shared design based off brand elements within each companies individual logo and cultural heritage.
